Sharee, just 11 years old, was hospitalized for threatening suicide, violent outbursts and depression. Her family felt powerless to help and saddened that a young life could be so troubled.

The hospital suggested Henderson Mental Health Center.

Ten weeks later... with caring guidance and therapy...she’s resolved the goals of her treatment plan. By the end of the school year she had joined the swim team and Library Club and stopped making suicidal threats.

Now she’s taking better care of herself and she’s exercising daily. Sharee recognizing her successes told us, “I feel better than I ever have, thank you!”

At Henderson Behavioral Health we strive every day to help young people like Sharee, as well as adults and seniors, to fulfill the promise of a better tomorrow. You can be a part of our success!

"In six short months my world crumbled ...by the grace of God did I end up in the hands of this outstanding and unique facility.”-Kat

She lost her children, friends, family, home, car and job. She began shoplifting, was homeless and hopeless. At Henderson's Cottages in the Pines (a Henderson Behavioral Health housing program for clients) for 1 year, she felt at home and received the support to make her well again. She finished her GED, enrolled in college and is free of drugs. Living independently again, working part-time and with a car, she fondly recalls her time at the Cottages, especially the peacefulness of working in the community garden.

At Henderson Behavioral Health we strive every day to help people like Kat, as well as other adults and seniors, to fulfill the promise of a better tomorrow. You can be a part of our success!
