A
crisis can occur any hour of any day to anyone.
It can be caused by
things in a person’s control or well out of reach. At Henderson, we are here to help.
Our goal is to provide immediate intervention to
people experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Early intervention in a time
of need can prevent hospitalization and stabilize acute situations.
Crisis Services include mobile community outreach or walk-in services,
psychiatric evaluation, consultation and medication monitoring, brief
therapy, and short-term inpatient psychiatric treatment and stabilization.
Who
Benefits? Anyone going through a crisis, or having difficulty
coping with personal situations.
What
do we offer? Safety,
stabilization, immediate support, counseling, and inpatient stabilization
and treatment.
How
does it work? In person or by phone twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, we
support persons in crisis. By assessing the level of distress and developing
a plan of action, we make every effort to avoid costly and unnecessary
hospitalization by providing immediate treatment and support to individuals
in need. |
